This Long-Term Half-Way Program (LTHP) allows the client to develop coping skills by developing healthy daily routines that include waking at a particular time, making sure that his or her living quarters are clean, attending healthy activities including outside community support groups such as AA, NA and Al-Anon, as well as Aftercare classes and one-on-one counseling sessions offered both at ARA and at other locations. This program generally
lasts between six months to year. Progress is determined by healthy
integration into society through gaining employment, going to school at the
local university or attaining a GED, taking on responsibilities around ARA
and in the community, completing community service, and other pro-social
activities that help the client gain a stable support base. For more
information about admission to this program, contact Jack Gaskill by phone
at 208-522-6012, by email,
or at the address at the top of this page. |
