From the Director

While there is a lot of information out there about treatment much of it is designed to sell a facility to families in order to get folks in the door. Treatment is, by its nature, an attempt to undue what has taken a much longer time establish. No one entering residential treatment should think that what will happen will be enough to ensure life time sobriety. At the best it will provide the client will a very good idea of what has happened, why it continued to happen despite their efforts to control it, and what needs to be done going forward to continue in recovery. Continued hard work is absolutely necessary. Most often it should be in the form a outpatient program. For our clients the options are a matter of informed choice with the options explored with the help of the counselor.
