Who We Are
Addiction Rehabilitation Association (ARA),
formerly Alcohol Rehabilitation Association,
is a private, not-for-profit, residential treatment center for Chemical
Dependence located in Idaho
Falls, Idaho, and geared toward helping those who otherwise could not afford
treatment.
We exist to help those who need a hand getting their life back.
We began in 1967 when a few recovering persons and a judge took it upon
themselves to open the doors, knowing that something had to be done for those
at risk of dying or
going to jail because of their addiction. From that day forward, we
have never locked the front door. Many of us have "been there, done that"
and are now in recovery and many of us have paid a high price for sobriety and want to save those we
can from paying any more.
How to Navigate Our Website
In the top center and bottom center of every page you will find our
navigation links. Our Home page will bring you to
back to this page, where you will find an introduction to us, a staff
picture and some of our frequently asked questions
(FAQ). At Intensive Residential Treatment
Program (IRTP), you will find information regarding the service most
often sought, including financial information, rules, client rights and
nearly anything else you may need to know. Information regarding our
transitional services can be found on our
Long-Term Half-Way Program and
Quarter-Way and Outpatient pages.
Our Services page will tell
you what programs we offer and a little about each. Our
Staff page will introduce you to our clinical and administrative staff,
and please don't hesitate to give us a call or send us an email
using the Contact Us link. The
What Now? link will
give you a step-by-step guide to the admissions process as well as
helpful resources to that end. Location will
give you a detailed map and directions to our facility. Answer all of your
financial needs questions on the
Financial Information page, learn how we view addiction on the
Mission Statement and
Philosophy page, and obtain information about outside help on our
Support page. Quickly find the answer to the
most commonly asked questions on the FAQ page and
find out how the site is arranged on the Site
Index.
Our hope is that we have built this
website in an easy-to-use manner. As such, if you have any suggestions or
comments, please feel free to contact us and let us know!
